When it comes to making the head I think I have enough confidence and making ability to put one together with out practicing for three months- right now I'm more concerned about the body of the bear and the work that will be involved designing and making that.
After the workshops with Fumio I am going to research the height of the exhibition room so I know how big I'll make the bear and how much fabric I'll use. Then I'll start drawing thumbnails for the costume and what components they'll be made of (e.g.: screen printed fabric, embroidered fabric, digital printed fabric etc.)
I also created a mind map of what I wanted/needed to do so at a glance I know my next step.
I think it's also important that I just start drawing as much as possible and make lots of work that I can narrow down and use for the fabric/ wall illustrations etc.
