First of all I wanted to show the completed (apart from the ruff and extra adornments that will hopefully be featured in the exhibition) costume in a similar way that Freger photographed the folk costumes, in a large open space. Luckily my parents live on a farm, so finding a large rural space wasn't hard to find.
I think showing the costume in this sense makes it just as creepy, as it is out in the open for people to see and it looks so out of place.
I also took a picture on timer of me stood with it to show the scale:
I then decided to take the costume into a wooded area to create the scene of the bear in the forest.
